According to a new study by two economics professors from West Virginia University, New Hampshire is the least corrupt state in the US.
In related news, 75 of 134 candidates endorsed by the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance won their electoral races last Tuesday, including the first Free State Project member to win a State Senate seat. (Also included: Peter Batula, Nancy Elliott, Peyton Hinkle, Robert L'Heureux, and Maureen Mooney, five of the eight state representatives for Merrimack.) Most of the NHLA-endorsed candidates who lost their races did so by razor-thin margins; Don Gorman, NHLA Political Director, lost by only 36 votes.
