Update on that AFA poll ...

...don't bother voting against the AFA.  You're wasting your time.  They are methodically falsifying their own poll by removing thousands of votes unfavorable to them.  betnoir reports that greendalek took the poll twice from two different machines with access through two different ISPs, and in the time between the two, the number of results in favor of civil unions dropped by around 3,000 -- i.e, three or more thousand "unfavorable" votes were simply deleted from the poll.

The AFA being who they are, though, it doesn't come as a shock.

Are you in a position to check that? I'm not, as I don't have a second ISP account available. If we're going to be thorough, we need to do a second test to eliminate the possibility that greendalek didn't mis-remember the first number through no need to be careful with the numbers.

Oh, I'm sure it is. This is the AFA, after all, Bible-Thumpers Anonymous^WAnd Proud Of It. Nevertheless, it would have been nice to be able to tilt the balance of their poll in a direction they didn't expect, and it sucks if they're stooping to deleting votes opposed to their viewpoint if Those Perverted Faggots appear to be finding too much support.
