funny thing is, species interdependency is the hallmark of any well evolved, resilient ecosystem. try as we might, we can't separate ourselves from the world. i mean, dogs pretty much co-evolved with humans... they're capable of understanding far more human speech than any other animal. more than a chimp, as i understand.
